The Dragonkeeper Chronicles – I’m on book 4 of 5 and love it. I’m

Glad you liked it, Phyllis. You’re right, the world and races are established in the previous books, so for me, this was a seamless adjustment to a different side of this world and to an earlier time. I have to say, I’m with Rachel—the wizard is one of my favorite characters, too.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. I never really thought about Fen as being 2-D, but then, I suppose that has something to do with my having read the other series. I’m used to his antics and loved seeing a younger version of him. (^.^)

I liked it as well. (I must be drawn to two-dimensional characters, because the wizard was one of my favourites!) I also found the races a bit confusing, but she does give enough textual clues to help a new reader navigate if they’ll stick with it.
